Searles Cleaning Systems was founded in 1965 by John Searles Jr. with the goal of supplying pressure washers to the farm and automobile/service garage industry. John began building cold water pressure washers in his work shop when he wasn’t busy farming. His father, John Sr. was a Warsaw Chemical sales representative and began selling the washers to the customers on his sales route in mid-Michigan. As the years quickly passed, John Jr. took on a couple of hot-water washer brands to compliment his home-made “Grime Buster” pressure washers.
In January of 1981, John Jr. became a distributor for AaLadin Pressure Washers. Shortly thereafter, he dropped the other product lines of hot water pressure washers and focused on selling and servicing the best, AaLadin! A few years later, AaLadin proved to be building the best washers in the industry, which was evident by the quickly increasing sales volume. John Jr. made the decision to stop farming and building the “Grime Buster” pressure washers and focused wholly on the AaLadin product line.
Today, nearly 50 years later, the business is still being family run by John Jr.’s youngest son Mark, who took over operations in 2009. With four full-time sales/service representatives, Searles Cleaning Systems covers the entire state of Michigan for AaLadin Industries. Our sales/service representatives have numerous years of experience with us: AL (40 years), Jim (34 years), Gary (28 years) and Bill (14 years).
